I joined The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver in February 1983. I have been involved in every sector of the residential and manufactured housing markets. Besides having a strong understanding of the real estate industry, I am also known for my clothing company, Classic Apparel International Ltd. This company was incorporated to manufacture and market my fashion designs in a variety of animal skins. This required a the development of a comprehensive business plan and extensive international travel regarding market research and analysis which has helped me tremendously in real estate.
My entrepreneurial experiences and my further education and graduation from Hospitality Operations Management Program has given me a broad range of knowledge about different business and people dealings. I have received recognition for my strong organizational skills, people skills, the ability to prioritize my workload and willingness to offer assistance to co-workers.
More recently, My daughter and I lived in the Las Vegas area at which time I obtained a State of Nevada Manufactured Housing License and sold manufactured homes there. I was taught every aspect of turning the dry desert earth into a fully functioning residential home with a luxurious landscaped yard. Within a short time after that I obtained my State of Nevada Real Estate License and sold real estate as a Las Vegas Realtor. With all this knowledge and exciting ideas we are back to Vancouver, BC. Again, I have obtained my realtor's licence and I am successfully engaged in providing real estate services with The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver.
